Application

Step 1: Prepare nails

File your nails into shape, gently push back your cuticles with the wooden stick, and lightly buff the nail surface. Then thoroughly clean your nails with the included cleaning wipe.

Step 2: Choose the right size

Select the correct adhesive tabs, apply them to your natural nails, and remove the protective film.

Step 3: Glueing & fixing

Place the matching Soft Gel Press On onto the nail at a 45-degree angle and press firmly for about 60 seconds — done!

Removal

Step 1: Apply remover oil

Apply the remover oil around the edges of the nail, massage it in well, and gently lift the edges of the Press Ons using the rosewood stick.

Step 2: Soak nails

Prepare a warm hand soak with 1–2 droppers of remover oil, soap, and optionally remover liquid. Soak your nails for about 10 minutes and gently lift the Press Ons from time to time using a rosewood stick.

Step 3: Clean and store the press-ons

Carefully roll off and remove any adhesive residue from the center using a rosewood stick. Then sort the press-ons so that they can be reused next time.

Step 4: Clean & care for natural nails

Gently remove any adhesive residue from the natural nail with a buffer or a cotton ball soaked in remover. Finally, apply hand cream and nail serum for extra care.

How long do the press-ons last?

If you use the adhesive stickers provided, the press-ons will usually last around 5-7 days.

If you stick them on with the Doonails nail glue, they will last for approx. 14 days.

The durability always depends on the individual application and the stress on the nails.

How often can I reuse the Press Ons?

If you use the adhesive stickers provided, you can reuse them until they no longer look nice to you. However, before reusing them, make sure that no adhesive residue remains on the underside.

If you attach your press-ons with nail glue, you will most likely only be able to use them once, as a remover is required to remove them, which will probably change the appearance of your press-ons. In addition, the adhesive residue on the underside is very difficult to remove.

Can I care for my nails as usual after application?

If you work with the adhesive stickers, we recommend that you do not use nail oil or creams, as this can have a negative effect on the durability.

If you use nail glue, you can care for your cuticles as usual, but if your order is already in the packing or shipping process, unfortunately it cannot be cancelled, nor can you change your address.

Are the stickers also available to buy individually?

Yes, you can also order our adhesive stickers individually in the shop. One pack contains 180 stickers in 15 different sizes.

I have an allergy to gel and Shellac. Are the Soft Gel Press Ons suitable for me?

I love the short square shape. I'm used to having a French manicure but your French manicure has very little white at the ends, so I tried the baby boomer and I love it!

A couple days and you’re doing it all over. The at-store press ons, terrible. DOONAILS are truly amazing! The price for the starter set is less than one trip to the salon. The first set was a little bit of a learning curve. Pro tip:get the nail completely clean and the adhesive size right. You’ll be happy you took the time to do this. Even with the imperfections that first time, the adhesive lasted past the 5-7 noted. After 8 days I changed them because I wanted to. They were still very secure! The second set has been on for a week now and still going strong. They look even better than the first set now that I’ve done it once. I bought 10 more sets. I can’t wait for more color options! I love these nails SO MUCH! Mine last 3 weeks, maybe longer, because I change colors by then. My favorite is extra short square. They look so natural, and I get compliments all the time.

I love this product!

This was my first set I tried. I am in love with this product! The short were just a little too long for me, so I will mainly stay with using the extra short. At first, I put them on upside down, be sure to put the thinner edge closest to cuticle or else it will stick up. In the picture, my middle finger is correct. There's a small embossed number on the underside of the nail, that is the thicker edge! I used a little glue on the adhesive and it took about 15 minutes to remove. I am only going to use the adhesive in the future because it seems to work just as well, and the removal is faster and cleaner. I have recommended to everyone I know!

I got a good week wear from my first try. I am very hard on my hands at work, and the fact that these survived a week is great! Removal was easy and only took about 20 minutes for both hands. And not using acetone was fantastic! I do plan to get some of the extra short as even the short were a little too long for me. I think it's a great product!
