I ordered one set of nails, to test them out before buying more. I have tried other press-ons, and I have tried making my own press-ons, and these from Doonails are so great! The sizes fit, and they are flexible enough to bend a little without getting those white streaks, if you hav a flat/round nail!

Quick and easy to apply, but unfortunately the nails are very long, and the selection of short nails isn’t very large. I would love to see more color options in short sizes.

How do I use the Remover Oil?

Apply the Doonails Remover Oil around the edges of your nails and massage it in well to help loosen the adhesive tabs.
Fill a bowl with warm water and add 1–2 pipettes of Remover Oil along with 2 pumps of hand soap. If you used nail glue, add about 10 ml of Doonails Remover Liquid to the oil bath as well.
Soak your nails for about 10 minutes. During this time, gently lift your Press Ons with a wooden cuticle stick to help loosen them until they come off completely. If needed, soak a bit longer.
Remove any residue on your nails with a nail file or a cotton ball soaked in Remover Liquid. For glue residue on the underside of your Press Ons, use a wooden stick — place it in the center of the adhesive tab and simply roll it off.
Finish by applying hand cream and a bit of Doonails Nail & Cuticle Oil around your nail edges.

Is the Remover Oil harsh or damaging?

No, our Remover Oil is nourishing and designed for gentle yet effective removal of your Press Ons or Gel Strips. Its mild, fragrance-free, and solvent-free formula with conditioning ingredients cares for your nails and cuticles during and after use.

Do I need to use Remover Liquid as well?

Yes, but only if you used nail glue for your Soft Gel Press On manicure instead of adhesive tabs. In that case, we recommend adding about 10 ml of Remover Liquid to your oil-water bath.

What should I do if the Press Ons or Gel Strips don’t come off easily?

If your manicure doesn’t lift right away, don’t worry — this can happen depending on how strong the adhesion is. Simply soak your nails a bit longer, about 15–20 minutes instead of 10. Make sure the water is comfortably warm and that there’s enough Remover Oil in the bowl. If you used nail glue, add an extra 10 ml of Remover Liquid to the soak.

What can I do if there’s still glue residue after removal?

Sometimes small glue residues remain — that’s completely normal. To remove them gently, lightly buff the affected areas with a nail buffer. If the residue is stubborn, massage a bit of Remover Oil onto the nail surface and soak your nails again briefly in warm water. This will soften the glue, allowing you to remove it easily without damaging your natural nails.
