  2. Prep the nail surface: Use the gray buffer side (280 grit) to gently buff the surface of your natural nails. This step is especially important to remove oils and lightly roughen the surface so Gel Strips, Press Ons, or Dipping Powder adhere better.
  3. After the manicure (optional): After removing your manicure, you can use the buffer side to gently remove any glue residue from your natural nails.
